Job Description

ABC Teachers, part of TES, are seeking an experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant to work in an SEN school near Loughborough on a flexible basis.

About the role:

Supporting students with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities including ASD, multi-sensory impairment, SLD & PMLD
SEN Learning Support Assistant under the instruction of a class teacher.
Supporting small class sizes of students of varying ages, from 4 to 19.
Working on a full time, part time and flexible basis.

The school caters for primary and secondary aged students with a wide range of special educational needs and disabilities, including ASD, SLD & PMLD.
Easily accessible from Loughborough, Leicester, Ashby-de-la-Zouch and surrounding areas of the East Midlands.

A strong leadership team with the aim to support students in reaching their full potential.
About you:

Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly built rapport with students.
Suitable qualifications to support students with SEND are desirable.
Have previous experience working with children and young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities.
Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
