Job Description

My client is looking for a Registered Children's Home Manager for their home based in the Corby area. My client cares for children & young people with challenging behaviours and EBD. This is a 3 bedded home.

You will manage and assure the smooth running of and co-ordinate the child care services of a designated residential home in conjunction with current legislation, regulations, standards and the company's policies and procedures. To be responsible for the management of professional staff and for the care they provide for the children and young people within the home.

Work with all young people in the home monitoring Care/Placement Plans/Educational and Development plans, to ensure that their physical, emotional and social well being is cared for and feed back information to relevant staff as appropriate.

Ensure that effective administration records including Reports, Reviews, Court Reports, Assessments, Records of Appointments, Daily Case Notes, Development charts etc. are kept within Company Policy and Procedure so that all documentation is always accurate, up to date and relevant for the purpose for which it will be required.

Liaise with Social Work Departments in all matters appertaining to a young person's placement. Complete and return all reports, schedules and other designated information as directed.

To manage the Home's Reward Scheme and ensure that the young people have up-to-date contracts/agreements.

The salary is £29,000 -£40,000 depending on experience.
