GBR Recruitment Ltd are working in partnership with a well established progressive shop fitting / commercial fit out installation company recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the QS / Estimation team in Lincolnshire covering local contracts & National contracts.

You will be a time served Quantity Surveyor with experience in Commercial & or Retail fit outs / project installations, working with some of the UK's biggest industry names.

Duties:

* Working in unison with the sales, design and contracts teams in delivering commercial support and management, including cost planning and estimating functions

* Measure and quantify labour, plant and materials that will be required as part of the estimating and service delivery function

* Provide commercial awareness and support to the business;

* Negotiate and procure subcontract works packages

* Formulate project interim and final accounts both upstream and downstream

* Assist with carrying out site surveys and scoping commercial / retail fit out works brief

* Visit commercial / retail sites to re-measure and agree subcontract accounts for work at hand

* Assist the business with reviewing contract documentation

* Valuing and authorising subcontract and supplier invoices

* Cash flow forecasting and cost value reconciliation reporting

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

* Quantity Surveying HND/HNC/Degree qualification or similar

* QS & Estimating experience would be beneficial as some estimating duties to be carried out within this post

* Commercial & Retail interior fit out experience would be beneficial but other sector QS / Estimating experience also will be considered

* Strong Excel skills required & experience of Accounts / Costing software

* Excellent communicator (face to face, over the telephone & email)

* Knowledge of building regulations & building control measures a must

* Strong planing & organisation skills with the ability to prioritise workloads

* Used to supporting multiple projects across Commercial / Retail fit outs
