We have an exciting opportunity for a Property Surveyor to join a reputable retail business based in Nottingham. This is a remote position where you will be responsible for over 50 locations nationwide.
To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials:
In-depth knowledge of building construction, practices and cost control systems
Experience with building defects, remediation strategies, CDM, energy management techniques, asbestos management, health and safety legislation and construction legislation
Be a confident individual who enjoys nurturing strong relationships with both internal and external customers
Hold a full, clean UK driving license as regular nationwide travel is required
Retail industry experience in a comparative role
This role will require you to work with minimum supervision to look after all aspects of property management including planned and reactive maintenance, dilapidations, and major refurbishments including new fit outs.
Within this position, you’ll also be:
Ensuring that all buildings within the portfolio are maintained to a high standard
Managing and building relationships with external contractors to negotiate repair and refurbishment schemes across the portfolio
Ensuring projects work to time and cost budgets
Taking responsibility for property lease negotiations and commercial arrangements, service charge discussions and agreements
Salary & Working Hours
Salary is £45,000 – £50,000
Working hours are Monday – Friday
