A leading East Midlands shopping centre is in search of a Marketing Manager to cover a 12 month maternity leave. You will work closely with the scheme's senior leadership team to devise strategy for the centre, leading your own team of two dedicated marketeers.
What will the role entail?
As the Marketing Manager for this vibrant city centre shopping and leisure destination, you will be responsible for devising the marketing strategy and working with a small team to implement it successfully.
Your aims will be to drive footfall, frequency of visit and dwell time, retailer sales and market share for the shopping centre through the compelling campaigns you create.
You will be responsible for the line management of a very experienced Assistant Marketing Manager, as well as a Marketing Coordinator.
Your remit will include managing a variety of external agencies (including PR, creative and digital), budget management, media buying strategy, digital marketing, market research, crisis management, CSR, as well as retailer liaison.
The role will be a 12 month fixed term contract, ideally commencing in early November 2020.Am I right for the role?
This role is diverse meaning you will have worked across the full marketing mix, within either shopping centres or a closely related sector such as leisure or retail.
You must have previous experience of rebranding an organisation, or property.
An individual with strong leadership and management skills with experience of direct line management is needed.
We need a positive, capable person with confidence and strong negotiation skills. If you've previously been described as influential, collaborative and proactive you're the kind of person who would do well in this role and business!
