Synergi are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer (Electrically Biased) to join a fast-growing food manufacturer in Northampton. The successful candidate would join the Engineering team working an average of 48 hours a week. The successful Maintenance Engineer (Electrically biased) will be responsible for providing both reactive & planned maintenance on high speed production machinery. You will be working on a mixture of Electrical & Mechanical equipment including conveyors, packaging, sterilisation, and filling machinery
Roles & Responsibilities:
*Continuous improvement and route cause analysis
*Conducting Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance on equipment such as Bearings, Pumps, Chains, valves, Single & Three phase wiring, fault finding, working on control panels, inverters, motor drives and PLC controlled equipment
*Preventative maintenance programs and projects
*Ideally have a time served apprenticeship or equivalent
*A UK Recognised engineering qualification
*Good knowledge of PLC controlled machinery
*Worked in either Food, Pharmaceutical, Automation, General FMCG
Salary: Up to £48,000
