INTERNAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE
LOUGHBOROUGH

Hours 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
We are seeking an experienced Internal Sales Representative to work with the Commercial Team of our well known, and well respected, client who manufacture specialist plastic piping products at their sites in Leicestershire and Lincolnshire. Your role as Internal Sales Representativer will be to work in partnership with sales colleagues, in this friendly team, to deliver a credible and professional service to internal and external customers thereby maximising opportunities and converting enquiries to orders. Your enquiries will be in the form of emails or telephone calls and will be from existing customers. There is no cold calling required in this role as you are dealing with clients who want to purchase the products manufactured. It would be useful if you have worked in a manufacturing commercial environment, or in the construction industry, previously and can relate to products and customers. Reporting to the Commercial Manager you will be responsible for a designated geographical area. Your role as Internal Sales Representative with excellent customer service skills, together with a passion for dealing with clients and colleagues in a professional manner, will ensure that all sales enquiries are maximised. Key responsibilities – Internal Sales Representative:
* Initial point of contact for receiving enquiries from clients and merchants in geographical area
* Ensure that all enquiries are maximised and that quotations are issued in accordance with department procedures, ensuring these are submitted within required timescale
* Follow up outstanding enquiries/quotations and close the order
* Build positive relationships with internal and external customers
* Raise and close out price referrals
* Maintain customer data base
Personal specification – Internal Sales Representative :
* Proven track record in developing customer relationships and delivering excellent customer service
* Accuracy and with attention to detail with good data entry skills
* Self-motivated with the ability to work using own initiative
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
* Previous experience within a manufacturing sector, or construction, would be useful, as well as the ability to pick up product knowledge quickly
