Are you an experienced and passionate HR operations professional and thrive on playing a key role within a dynamic HR team If so, we are looking to recruit a highly motivated HR Operations Manager to fulfil an exciting opportunity to lead and drive best in class administrative, systems and HR support processes for our UK& Ireland businesses across our DFDS' Seaways and Logistics divisions. Our HR Operations team provide a critical and essential service for our colleagues and management teams for our most valued asset.

With a current Group turnover of £2bn, DFDS are one of the largest Shipping & Logistics leaders in Europe. The role of HR Operations Manager requires being the lead for people processes, all people related administration and the efficient and accurate running of our HR information systems and reporting processes. You will also have responsibility for the team of HR Coordinators… The HR Operations Manager will have the ability to build strong relationships with the local business and HR team stakeholders and ensure accurate, professional administration for all operational HR tasks. You will also be responsible for driving and managing the structure, administration and process of all the annual Group and local people routines. Proven success in bringing innovative and creative solutions to common challenges and strong experience of managing digital HR solutions to ensure the best, most effective and efficient colleague experience is essential.
What you will be responsible for:
Ensure the business strategy is efficiently underpinned by robust, accurate and efficient people administration
Develop and drive routines and support the implementation of the local people plans in line with overall plan to enable the delivery of business objectives.
Shape, drive forward and implement local people related administration-based initiatives, processes and routines incorporating data insights and professional experience.
Data accuracy and effective use of HR systems to drive continuous improvement.
Uphold confidentiality and trust in each stakeholder relationship.
Use fact-based and logical arguments to ensure robust people policy and approach decisions for the business
Challenge the leaders constructively where relevant
Inspire stakeholders to reflect on more diverse viewpoints, challenges and presents different perspectives.
What you will need to be successful
You will be an HR professional with a track record of working within in a complex multi-site organisation and can demonstrate that you are comfortable advising and supporting Senior Management business decisions as well as displaying strong HR systems implementation and leadership skills. You will have a track record of driving change and improvements across people, policy and process.
