Job Title: Finishing Foreman
Job Type: Temporary – 1 Month

Our client is a market leading high volume house builder, developing large sites often with over 100 units. They are looking for a Finishing Foreman, to undertake and prepare snag lists for the internal trades teams in order to complete final finishes on residential construction schemes within the Corby area.
This is an active role based on a construction site. Working in inclement weather will be required as the need arises. The person is required to have excellent knowledge and experience in housing construction, with a minimum of 5 year’s experience and preferably from a trade background. Be able to drive jobs to practical completion in agreed timescales. They must have excellent communication and management skills and are able to produce short term programmes and snagging lists for various trades.

Duties & Responsibilities:
A Finishing Foreman’s duties encompass many aspects throughout the building process – responsibilities include: –
Comply with responsibilities as laid down in the Group’s Health, Safety & Environment Policy and as explained in Site Health and Safety rules/procedures.
At all times comply with company policies, procedures and instructions.
Prepare scopes of works and snagging lists for respective trades
Instruct various subcontractor trades / suppliers to carry out the works required including oversee and supervise labour / subcontractor levels on site
To ensure all relevant information concerning specifications and remedial’s are conveyed to the construction team in a timely and accurate manner
Delivering work to agreed timescales
Liaise / communicate between departments (construction, sales & customer care) to ensure works are completed
Produce customer care snagging list
Contribute to improving the business, protecting and enhancing the reputation of the company, by putting forward new ideas and, when requested to do so, implementing change.
Desirable Experience & Qualifications:
CSCS Card Site Operative/manager (mandatory)
SSSTS / SMSTS (mandatory)
High level finishes experience with proven track record with other housing developers
Strong knowledge of building regulations, NHBC standards and H&S legislation
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Full UK Driving Licence
First Aid (not essential but beneficial)
Prepared to work Saturdays / Weekends (if required)
