We are working with a Shipping and Logistics organisation seeking an Finance Assistant to join their team in Grimsby.
* Monitoring daily communications and answering any queries.
* Preparing statutory accounts.
* Complete month end accounts
* Responsible for completing high volume purchase invoices
* Cash postings
* Responsible for the companies purchase ledger
* Ensuring payments, amounts and records are correct.
* Invoice processing and filing.
* Liaising with third party providers, clients, and suppliers.
* Updating and maintaining procedural documentation.
* Experience handling purchase ledger
* Strong accounts experience
* Experience handling high volume invoices
* Excellent communication skills
* Experience working within an accounts role
