Job Description

The role of the Facilities Manager is to oversee the delivery of FM services on a PFI Education contract with a particular emphasis on the planned and reactive maintenance element of the contract.

Description

The Facilities Manager will work closely with the Account Manager to ensure the successful execution of a strategy to deliver FM services in line with the contractual KPI's and SLA's.

You will need to ensure that the CAFM system is set up to perform at an optimum level to allow for the correct data to be collected and distributed in order for the successful delivery of a planned and reactive maintenance programme.

It will be your responsibility to manage exposure to financial risk and to make sure that the correct commercial procedures are in place to ensure best practice.

You will have regular meetings with your client and will need to demonstrate a solid technical knowledge of how the account is performing from a contractual and compliance point of view.

Profile

Our client would like to receive applications from individuals who have experience of working within a PFI environment and ideally within an education environment too.

It is anticipated that you will have a technical background by way of qualification and have membership to a professional body such as IWFM. You will need to demonstrate working knowledge of CAFM systems and delivering planned and reactive maintenance programmes.

The role is based in Derby on a day to day basis so you will live within a reasonable commuting distance of Derby as remote working cannot be considered.
