City Plumbing has a brilliant opportunity for an Office & Facilities Administrator to assist in maintaining our Head Office based in Crick.

This role will be varied and diverse involving administration, maintenance, and caretaking of our Head Office. You'll be the central point of contact for all head office colleagues and an ambassador for our brand.

The Role:

It is an exciting time here at City Plumbing. We've recently become a stand-alone business and are making real strides in creating a diverse and inclusive workplace that celebrates and values diversity .

One of the areas that we are looking to recruit is for a Facilities Administrator to be our central point of contact at our Head Office.
Although a bit of a cliche, no two days will be the same and you'll quickly find yourself getting involved with areas such as maintenance of our property, administration of health and safety, and facilitation of colleagues on site.
You'll enjoy engaging with others and take great pride in creating an enjoyable and safe environment for our Head Office colleagues to work in.
Areas of focus include:

Ensure a clean, safe, functional, and pleasant environment in which people can work.

Supervise a team of cleaners ensuring the building is kept to a high standard at all times.

Regularly inspect the building for maintenance issues – incl. Heating, Lighting, and Alarm systems.

Manage the main car park and EV charging points.

Manage stock and reorder stationery and consumables for the building.

Oversee passes for new starters and keep records of current staff up-to-date.

Adhere to the companies safety policies.

This is a full time office-based role so you should be within commutable distance of our newly refurbished offices in Crick, Northamptonshire.

This means you could be based in Corby, Coventry, Hinkley, Kettering, Leamington Spa, Leicester, Loughborough, Lutterworth, Market Harborough, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Northampton, Nuneaton, Oundle, Peterborough, Raunds, Rugby, Rushden, Tamworth, Wellingborough, as well as Crick itself.

Required skills and competencies:

Previous experience managing contractors and undertaking DIY jobs.

Knowledge of H&S and risk assessments.

Previous experience in dealing with general administration tasks.

Reliable and able to work under own initiative.

Proficient in Basic IT.

Great people, team, and multi-tasking skills.
It is highly likely you will have an interest to work within any of the following roles and/or markets: Office Management, Caretaker, Maintenance Manager, Facilities Administrator, Office Coordinator, Facilities Coordinator.
