Job Description

Electrical Contracts Manager

Term: Full Time, Contract (18 month contract)
Location: Leicester

Our client is an established and respected commercial/industrial
M&E Contracting Company based in Wolverhampton, undertaking a range of activities involving
primarily installation works for various clients predominantly in the Midland's area, but
extending to UK wide

Due to continued growth we have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Contracts
Manager. The role requires the applicant to be highly competent in electrical installations but should also have a good knowledge of other trades associated with the construction trade.

The applicant must also possess sound commercial awareness

Main Dutiesand Key Responsibilities

* Preparation of estimates – Development of secured tenders to construction documents – Site

* Surveys – Responsible for ordering materials for projects – Responsible for organising subcontractors and suppliers

* Producing risk assessments and method statements

* Liaising with clients on a daily basis to ensure the project runs to the client satisfaction

* Collating commissioning certification and produce operation and maintenance manuals

Key Skills

* Electrical apprenticeships completed

* Previous experience of working on commercial and industrial installations

* Proactive with a client focus and positive attitude

* Experience as a Contracts Manager – Certified in IOSH or similar is desirable

* Familiar with Construction Design Management

* Computer literate (use of Word/Excel), AutoCAD would be a distinct advantage

* Professional and presentable appearance –

* Clean Driving licence/ flexible with travel –

* Excellent time management and organisational skills
