Job Role: Customer Supply Chain Coordinator
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £20,000 to £24,000 per annum
Our client is a leading figurehead in the UK food sector, with an unparalleled pedigree dating back to the early 18th century. They have 15 sites across the UK including factories, offices, distribution centres and R&D facilities.
They are current seeking a Customer Supply Chain Coordinator to manage the day-to-day processing of customer accounts. You will provide proactive communication to both internal customers and external key customer supply chain contacts on all service-related issues.
-Effective order processing, including identifying abnormal demand with forecasters
-Awareness & communication of transport delivery schedule
-Pro-actively notify customers/commercial managers on product availability issues affecting customer service level
-Investigate root cause reason for shorts, and complete reports to customer
-Investigate root cause reason for customer returns, and identify actions to resolve, with managers & commercial contacts.
-Effectively manage samples within the agreed SLA
-Maintain customer account documentation
Experience and Qualifications
-Previous experience in FMCG or similar environment
-Supply Chain or customer services background
-Working knowledge of SAP ideally
-Customer Service NVQ Level 3
