Customer Service Executive – Packaging

Leicester

Salary up to £20K (DOE)

Company – A specialist label and packaging specialist, supplying to retailers and manufacturers around the world.

Overview – Working within the Sales team, the Customer Service Executive is responsible for the efficient delivery of the UK production order process, driving through improvements to offer the best possible customer experience. From receipt of the order to production and follow up. Working in a fast-paced environment the post holder will address all customer related issues in a timely and thorough manner.

Roles & Responsibilities –

Handles all incoming calls to company land line.
Process customer orders from initial contact to raising the SO via the internal systems.
Liaising with Sales team for new items / enquiries as required.
Liaising with Production/Despatch/Accounts to ensure all required information relating to an order/customer is correctly communicated.
Attends production updates to ensure correct lead time as are conveyed / up to date and relevant production orders are tracked.
Accurately records and logs customer notes on the internal system.
Tracks and records issues via our internal procedure and ensures corrective actions are implemented.
Keeps sensitive information and financial records private and confidential.
Works with management to maintain best practices for efficient communication with customers.
Implements company rules and policies to address issues such as quality issues, wrong delivery and delayed delivery to inform customers.
Address customer questions relating to new products, service, promptly passing to relevant colleague as required.
Contributes to bottom lines sales by increasing customer satisfaction.

Experience Needed:

Confident, driven, team player who works well under pressure, with a mature approach and excellent attention to detail. Someone who quickly learns the function of the internal systems to process orders in an efficient manner.
Good communication skills, at least 2 years customer service experience in a production based environment.
Preferably from a Packaging environment
Preferably someone who understands print i.e. flexo, rotary, digital
Excellent listening skills
Results-driven
Able to work as a team
Ability to work in fast-paced environment
Ability to work under pressure
Pays attention to detail
Fast learner
Engaging personality
Problem-solver
